In NSW primary schools, the study of a language is optional.
Language study allows students to develop communication skills, learn about languages as systems and explore the relationship between language and culture. Students engage with the linguistic and cultural diversity of societies and reflect on their understanding of social interactions.

At Middleton Grange Public School we respectfully acknowledge the Darug Nation and Cabrogal Clan who for thousands of years have been the custodians of the land that our school is built on. We acknowledge the Gandangara Local Aboriginal Land Council who are the present day caretakers of this land and we pay our respects to Elders both past and present.
